[ Hzgg 3 - Episode 29 ]

Alas, after 48 hours of waiting, from Friday till today, we finally got to see episode 29, one of the episodes that successfully made its way to the top of my list of ‘most horrifying and annoying Hzgg 3 episode’. Yes, let me summarize the whole story in 3 words. Horrifying. Scary. Annoying. In this episode, we see a new side of Yong Qi, the side where we never wanted to see, especially for those big fans of Yong Qi and Xiao Yan Zi. Be prepared for the worst, this episode is only the beginning of the main 3-episodes-saga where the biggest fight between Xiao Yan Zi and Yong Qi will occur anytime now… Not gonna spoil you guys rotten now… Muahaha! Let’s begin, shall we?


Today’s episode, the 29th episode of Huan Zhu Gege 3 started with…


Zi wei and Dong Er, hugging each other, crying endlessly at the entrance of the house of Xue Shi Fu [Fu Residence], witnessed by Yong Qi, Xiao Yan Zi, Qing Er, Fu Ren and Fu Lun. Er Kang who was there suddenly disappeared, finally awakened in San Jing. He didn’t recognize Musha or anybody there, thinking that he was in a new world of gods, since the people there wore weird types of clothes. Musha was determined to convince Er Kang that Zi Wei and Dong Er never existed and Er Kang finally fell asleep as his body was still weak.


Here comes the first dreadful scene…


Yong Qi and Xiao Yan Zi stepped into Jing Yang Gong, Cai Xia and Ming Yue greeted them, saying Huangshang had bestowed many gifts upon Rong Qing Wang [Prince Rong, Yong Qi’s new title] and his 2 Fu Jin, asking them whether they should address them with the new titles. Yong Qi and Xiao Yan Zi asked them to call them with the same usual name. Here comes the… pregnant Zhi Hua out form her room, congratulating Yong Qi for the title bestowed upon him. She said Huangshang had given a sword, asking whether Yong Qi wants to see it and her other gifts as well. Yong Qi said he’s bored of looking at the gifts, he just came back from Xue Shi Fu, sill sad and asked Zhi Hua to understand him. Xiao Yan Zi was sad and mad when Zhi Hua said “Those who died had died and the others have to continue on their lives”. Stepping toward Zhi Hua, Xiao Yan Zi said “If Er Kang haven’t died, you wouldn’t have got the title, all these happened because of Er Kang and those soldiers who perished in war. When you wear pearls, listen to people calling you Fu Jin, please remember what Er Kang and the others had sacrificed”. Zhi Hua’s face was like… Yong Qi turned to Xiao Yan Zi and meaningfully said “Xiao Yan Zi, you really understand me, I’m very touched, you’ve matured, I’m very proud of you” Zhi Hua later went to Yong Qi, reminding him about her sacrifice, this time Zhi Hua’s devilish side finally surfaced and Yong Qi had no choice but to follow her to her room.


In Zhi Hua’s room, Yong Qi didn’t want to talk to her but she kept on pushing Yong Qi. She said she didn’t want to become the 2nd Huanghou, she wants a husband, she wants more children. It’s scary when she said it’s easy, just use the same method he impregnated her the first time She asked Yong Qi to spend half of the month with Xiao Yan Zi and the other half with her. Yong Qi was of course enraged but Zhi Hua threatened to tell Huangshang about Xiao Yan Zi’s family secret. Yong Qi was dumfounded upon hearing and Zhi Hua took the advantage to sit on Yong Qi’s lap and kissed him, but Yong Qi pushed her away and wanted to leave. Zhi Hua said she’s doing this because she loves him so much, using herself so that Yong Qi will pity her. She wanted a bit of Yong Qi’s love but Yong Qi said Zhi Hua’s like a big bad luck [What is it… uh, tragedy?], a tragedy in his life, adding more sadness to his life and Xiao Yan Zi’s life as well.


Yong Qi quickly went to the door and Zhi Hua tried stopping Yong Qi and Yong Qi pushed, not really pushed just like uh, shrugged her off him and she fell against the cupboard and flat on the floor, on her stomach. Yes, this is what we call, the psychotic teenage drama queen… Yong Qi was shocked and of course thinking that he really did push her felt guilty and quickly went to Zhi Hua. Xiao Yan Zi came running and said Zhi Hua could be acting since she’d done that before and later they found she was bleeding for real. Of course, Zhi Hua’s a true psychotic, dare to risk her own child’s life just for attention! Zhi Hua was crying in pain and said she wanted the baby so much, Yong Qi who was all panicking lifted her into his arms and toward the bed, saying he promised if something happened to the baby, they’ll have 2nd, 3rd and more children. Xiao Yan Zi was dead shocked to hear that of course…


Next scene… Zhi Hua, screaming in pain with maids coming in and out of the room, bringing all sorts of stuff. Ling Fei Niang Niang was there and later Lao Fo Ye arrived with Qing Er. Qing Er went to Xiao Yan Zi’s room. There, Xiao Yan Zi tried comforting Yong Qi who was all panicked and anxious. He blamed himself and Xiao Yan Zi said Zhi Hua will be fine. Xiao Yan Zi asked him not to feel guilty, saying Zhi Hua wanted him to feel guilty, adding she was deceived once. Yong Qi, looking at Xiao Yan Zi in disbelief said she’d changed into a smart and cruel woman that is good in using tricks in the palace. Xiao Yan Zi was too shocked to say anything, just stared at Yong Qi with teary eyes. Yong Qi then went into Zhi Hua’s room and was there, guiding Zhi Hua throughout the labour. Qing Er comforted Xiao Yan Zi, asking her to be patient for Xiao Jian and said Yong Qi was only worried since it’s his child as well. After much screaming, Zhi Hua finally gave birth to a baby boy, named Mian Yi. Xiao Yan Zi and Qing Er were there inside the room as well when Yong Qi made all sorts of promises that he’ll change and blah, treat Zhi Hua better stuff like that. In the end, he said he’ll end Zhi Hua’s bad luck and said he’d been protecting other people instead of her. Upon hearing it, Xiao Yan Zi was very upset, running out from the room and into her own, chased by Qing Er. Yong Qi was too preoccupied with Zhi Hua to notice Xiao Yan Zi was there all the time


In Xiao Yan Zi’s room, Xiao Yan Zi sadly said “Qing Er, it’s all over, I’ve lost. Qing Er doesn’t love me anymore, he fell in love with Zhi Hua, I think I’m losing Yong Qi and Zhi Hua’s having him” Qing Er said it’s impossible, their 7 years of love [Unbelievable, they’ve been married for 7 years already] couldn’t be compared to Zhi Hua. Xiao Yan Zi protested, saying Zhi Hua had replaced her, Yong Qi didn’t even notice her being there, always there with Zhi Hua, holding her hand, saying he wanted to end Zhi Hua’s bad luck “Does this mean it’s the beginning of my bad luck?!” Xiao Yan Zi sighed and Qing Er told her that Yong Qi was just feeling guilty, too many bad events had happened, Er Kang’s death and now… Yong Qi was just shocked and felt responsible. Later Cai Xia and Ming Yue came into the room, telling Zhi Hua was fine and Wu Ah Ge was there to accompany her, she was holding his hand and he didn’t dare to move. Going to the seat, Xiao Yan Zi slumped into it, sighing “Don’t say anything, my bad luck has just begun…”


In Xue Shi Fu, Zi Wei was kissing Dong Er who was asleep in her bed, gently. She then went to her Qin [Zither] and started playing a song, for Er Kang. Flashes of memories of her and Er Kang appeared in her mind as she sang. In San Jing, Er Kang suddenly awakened and…


The end of episode 29…


[Big ranting time…]


That psychotic teenage drama queen is unbelievable! She’s started to show her true colours already! Yong Qi was shocked as well, haha… Hello, Yong Qi…


How could he say those mean stuff to Xiao Yan Zi, saying she’s changed into one of those women in palace?! How could he, ebil meanie! Hen huai! Poor Xiao Yan Zi…


My dearest kai xin guo! I cannot believe it, I kicked my TV when I couldn’t stand watching those annoying labour scenes! Why did they have to drag the scenes for more than 15 minutes?! So damn annoying…! Argh….! I bit my pillow hard, felt like slicing Yong Qi to mince meat!


Oh yeah, realized that they’ve changed the book [In the end of the ending theme song], from the book that has Xiao Yan Zi, Yong Qi and Zhi Hua to the book that has Xiao Yan Zi, Yong Qi, Xiao Jian and Qing Er? Finally! [Changed it in Episode 28…]
