[ Hzgg 3 - Episode 27 ]

Wow-ishness. They’re finally back in Beijing! Tian ah, I cannot stand it anymore. Today Yong Qi made all sorts of promise to Xiao Yan Zi and tomorrow he’ll be yelling his head off at Xiao Yan Zi! Darn that good-for-nothing Zhi Hua! Die! Die! Die!


The 27th episode of Tian Shang Ren Jian started with…


The girls in Zi Wei’s room in Xue Shi Fu [Fu Resident], trying to console Zi Wei who believed Er Kang was still alive. Zi Wei was devastated and heart-broken, crying all over the place while Er Kang tried touching her but failed. Fu Ren then came with Dong Er, he wanted Zi Wei but she refused to see Dong Er, saying that Dong Er can never replace Dong Er. She said having Dong Er doesn’t mean she has everything. Having both Dong Er and Er Kang mean she has everything. Zi Wei even pushed Dong Er away until he fell onto the floor and he kept tugging onto her dress.


In San Jing, Er Kang suddenly went up and then fell back onto the bed. The beautiful Princess Musha was panicking, asking the physician to treat Er Kang. The physician fed Er Kang with more Ying Zhu, some kind of drug to relieve pain. King Meng Bai then came and was astonished, saying Er Kang was seriously injured but still alive. Later the physician called a witchdoctor to treat Er Kang, calling out for his spirit/soul.


Back in Beijing, Huangshang, Xiao Yan Zi and the Imperial Court Members were gathering outside the palace to welcome back the Qing Army from Yunnan. Fu Lun who was also there was very sad upon seeing the troop arriving. Xiao Yan Zi quickly asked for Huangshang permission to go and meet Yong Qi, galloping on her horse, heading toward Yong Qi who quickly head toward her upon seeing her coming. Staring at each other for a few moments, Yong Qi was happy to finally meet her. Near tears, Xiao Yan Zi said she’d thought a lot of stuff to say but she’d forgotten everything already. 3 days before, she got the news he was coming home, today she begged Huangshang to take her along to see him and Huangshang agreed. For the whole 3 nights, she couldn’t sleep at all because she was busy thinking of something special to say when they meet again, wanting to surprise him, she was all prepared but now she couldn’t say anything.


Yong Qi was touched, saying that it was the most meaningful/wonderful things he’d ever heard. Still on their horses, Yong Qi neared Xiao Yan Zi, taking her hand into his, bringing it near his face “I miss you”. Xiao Yan Zi answered she missed him too, tears trickling down her face. Yong Qi said “I know you’ve so many things to tell, me too. We’ll talk slowly, finally can hold your hand again, I have no other request/wish especially after Er Kang’s death” Both of them were crying by that time. Yong Qi then asked where’s Zi Wei and Xiao Yan Zi answered Zi Wei became very weak after reading the letter, not wanting anything including Dong Er. They both then went to see Huangshang as the troop of Qing Army trailed behind them.


Huangshang told Yong Qi he wanted to elect him as a prince [As in with higher title than an Ah Ge, what is it heh..?] and wanted to elect Er Kang as Bei Zhi for his bravery. Yong Qi, Xiao Yan Zi and then Fu Lun brought Er Kang’s coffin back to Xue Shi Fu after Huangshang promised Er Kang he’ll take care of Zi Wei, his parents and Dong Er for him. Wonder why Huangshang never came to visit Zi Wei. Status too high? Protocol? What a father…


In Xue Shi Fu, the maids and servants of the resident were kneeling on the ground, wearing all white as the soldiers brought Er Kang’s coffin into the house. Yong Qi was there next to Xiao Yan Zi, consoling her as she cried. Fu Ren cried hysterically on the coffin. Er Kang’s spirit/soul later stepped into the area, looking at the scene in front of him. Yong Qi knelt in front of Fu Lun and Fu Ren, apologizing for not saving Er Kang. Fu Ren and Fu Lun quickly helped him up, saying they never blamed him. Xiao Yan Zi asked Dong Er to say something to his Ah Ma but he said there’s no more Ah Ma, crying as Xiao Yan Zi hugged him. Zi Wei, wearing all white walked out, standing before the rest of them. Yong Qi went to her, apologizing. Zi Wei wanted the coffin to be opened, not believing Er Kang was inside it. Yong Qi was crying as he said that he saw with his own eyes how Er Kang died. Zi Wei ran toward the coffin, crying crazily, demanding it to be opened. Fu Lun then asked the soldiers to open it and Zi Wei was even sadder upon seeing the lucky charm she’d given Er Kang earlier. She then said she wanted to be with Er Kang before attempting to knock her head on the coffin but was stopped by Yong Qi. Yet she attempted to commit suicide again but was stopped by Xiao Yan Zi who pushed her down to the ground.


Xiao Yan Zi later brought Zi Wei to her room. Xiao Yan Zi consoled Zi Wei, asking her not to commit suicide again. Fu Ren said she cannot afford to lose Zi Wei as well. Er Kang was there all the time watching. Fu Ren then went crying at her husband who was all sad as well. Yong Qi went to console Zi Wei, asking her to be brave for Dong Er. Zi Wei cried, saying she’d sewn the lucky charm while wishing for his safety yet he never returned safely. There will be no more gathering for all of them.


In Jing Yang Gong, the maids and eunuchs greeted Yong Qi as he entered. Zhi Hua came out, all smiling and heavily preggie [ ], saying she wanted to go welcome his back as well but Lao Fo Ye never let her go because she was pregnant. Xiao Yan Zi then told Yong Qi she wanted to accompany Zi Wei, scared she’ll do something stupid again. Zhi Hua asked Yong Qi to sit, giving him tea and asking Kuai Mo Mo to prepare Yong Qi’s bathing water [Hah? How to translate this?]. Xiao Yan Zi just kept quiet and then Yong Qi stood up, looking at Zhi Hua who was smiling “Zhi Hua, I’m relieved to see you’re fine. I just came back from Yunnan and had to face Er Kang’s death, I now appreciate my love towards Xiao Yan Zi even more. You don’t understand my feelings but I have so many things to tell Xiao Yan Zi. I don’t want to go to your room” Turning to Xiao Yan Zi, Yong Qi held out his hand and Xiao Yan Zi took his hand as he brough her into their room. Zhi Hua was shocked and sad [Muahaha! I’m lovin’ it! ] ‘He went straight to Xiao Yan Zi’s room and never bothered about my feelings? He left me in front of the maids???!!!’


Xiao Yan Zi and Yong Qi entered their room, closing the door and looked at each other with teary eyes. They both them hugged each other tightly, after 6 months of being apart, they are finally in each other’s arms again. They enjoyed the hug for a few moments before they shared a long kiss [Thanks, Lindy… Never got to see it anyways *Curses 8TV*], yes! They’re finally together again after 6 months… Holding Xiao Yan Zi close to him, Yong Qi looked into her eyes “Finally getting to hug you like this, it’s the biggest happiness to me” He hugged her tightly again before continuing “This life is short, we don’t have much time to fight for. From now on, you’re the most important person in my life” Xiao Yan Zi hugged him tightly, crying, touched by his words.

Still focused more on Zi Wei and Er Kang but happy that they did show a bit on Xiao Yan Zi and Yong Qi. Tomorrow, aiy… Cannot stand it already. Zhi Hua will be in labour tomorrow and later episode 29 will be all about HER. Damn you good-for-nothing psychotic teenage girl!


Haha, spent only 50 minutes to write today’s episode. It’s very short so… I typed real fast right after I came back home at 9.45 from my Chinese class. LoL! We learnt adjective words today, so funny. Gao1 [Tall], mei3 li4 [Pwetty], ai3 [short], gao1 xing4 [happy, hah? Kai xin also happy… ayyy…]. Shang1 xin1 [sad]. Ni zai zuo shen me?
