[ Hzgg 3 - Episode 25 ]

Episode 25th of Tian Shang Ren Jian started with…

Prince Musha wanted to chase Er Kang but his father said he’s a princess, forbad her to go yet he just left. So now, we shall call her, Princess Musha people. Princess Musha chased after Er Kang, Xiao Jian stopped the soldiers behind her so only Musha will go after Er Kang. In the forest, Er Kang and Musha started fighting, Er Kang was clearly winning the fight until Er Kang pulled off the outer layer and pointed the sword toward Musha, his eyes almost popped out upon seeing a girl standing in front of him, only wearing her under garment. Musha wanted to kill Er Kang but failed, asking Er knag to kill her since she’s lost her dignity already. Er Kang told her he won’t kill her, giving her clothes back to her, asking her to wear them fast, he’s not going to tell anyone about it. Later Musha said Er Kang will regret letting her go and sped off on her horse.

Next scene, narrator said the Qing Army had conquered back most of the places, though the Burmese Army was defeated, the Qing Army was very tired and lived in hardness. Later they went to the Burmese Army camp, wanted to launch sudden-attack on them. Yong Qi said he’ll be attacking from the middle, Xiao Jian from the west and asked each one of them not to take any risk, worried about each other. So the Qing army and Burmese army fought for the last time. In the midst of the battle, a bunch of Burmese army suddenly came and attacked them by shooting arrows. Yong Qi said they’ve hidden soldiers and asked Xiao Jian to tell Er Kang to retreat but Xiao Jian said it’s too late and told Yong Qi to continue on. Princess Musha, clad in his male attires went straight to Er Kang and attacked him. Er Kang asked Musha to retreat, saying the Qing Army has surrounded all of them but Musha just laughed. Later elephants were seen coming into the battlefield. The soldiers started shooting more poisonous arrows and Er Kang asked his own soldiers to hold up some barriers, protecting them.

Alas, Er Kang was shot with 2 arrows, straight into his left chest. Yong Qi and Xiao Jain screamed out his name upon seeing this but had to continue battling against the soldiers around them instead of helping Er Kang. Realizing that he was going to die, Er Kang fought his best after that, slashing everyone around him. In the other hand, Yong Qi was attacked by Meng Bai’s elephant. The elephant kicked Yong Qi away, causing him to bleed seriously and later he was about to be stampede by the elephant, causing Xiao Jian to call out for him. Er Kang was still slashing everyone around him until he was shot with more arrows, too many. Tears welled up in his eyes, flashes of Zi Wei appeared in his mind before he fell and a few soldiers went to attack him with sharp things.

In Jing Yang Gong, Zi Wei and Xiao Yan Zi who were sleeping suddenly woke up. Zi Wei told Xiao Yan Zi she dreamt about Er Kang and Xiao Yan Zi said not Er Kang but Yong Qi. Zi Wei said it can’t be because Er Kang has Ji Xiang Chi Qian to protect him, adding that Yong Qi also is protected by Huangshang’s lucky charm and he’s a Qing descendant. Xiao Yan Zi said Yong Qi had promised her he’ll be safe, saying they’ll be okay. The girls looked at each other, worried for the worst.

Back to the battlefield, it was night time already. The war was over, bodies were seen scattered all over the place. A few soldiers who were still alive were looking for Er Kang. Yong Qi who was unconscious, lying against a cart was tended by Xiao Jian and Tai Yi. Tai Yi said he’s okay, his injuries are not serious but he bled too much. He was scared that Yong Qi might not wake up or maybe lose his memory if he ever wakes up. So both Xiao Jian and Tai Yi started calling out for Wu Ah Ge and he woke up. Xiao Jian asked him to rest but he refused as soon as he remembered about Er Kang. Helped by Tai Yi and Xiao Jian, Yong Qi went to look for Er Kang. They parted ways to look for Er Kang but failed to find him until later a soldier came saying they’d found Er Fu. Yong Qi and Xiao Jian were shocked when he said Er Fu had died. Xiao Jian went to see the body and asked Yong Qi not to come near, the body was covered with blood until they can’t identify his face anymore. Yong Qi said it’s not him but Xiao Jian said the sword [Fu Family sword] belonged Er Kang. Yong Qi, still couldn’t accept it said it’s not Er Kang, saying Er Kang has Zi Wei’s charm, zi wei hua sewn in his armour. So when Yong Qi checked the body, he found Zi Wei’s lucky charm and started crying, screaming out loud

In the Fu Resident, Dong Er was asleep in the bed while Zi Wei was singing while sewing at the table when suddenly the wind started to blow hard and the doors were swung opened to reveal Er Kang entering the room. “Zi Wei, I’m back…” Zi Wei went to hug him tightly. Er Kang said he didn’t let anyone to tell Zi Wei, he wanted to surprise her. Zi Wei was crying as they talked about their promises and etc. Er Kang said “Zi Wei, I’d promised you, I will come back, so trust me, no matter what, I will return back to you” Later they kissed passionately and Er Kang asked Zi Wei to take care of Dong Er, saying he loves Dong Er. Er Kang then started to leave, flying away from Zi Wei and disappeared from the room as the doors closed behind him. Zi Wei cried frantically on the door and Zi Wei’s screaming woke Xiao Yan Zi up who was sleeping next to her. ZI Wei was just dreaming all this time. Screaming out Er Kang’s name, Zi Wei woke up. Xiao Yan Zi said she’s in Jing Yang Gong, she’s stayed there for days already. Zi Wei couldn’t believe she was just dreaming, saying it was like real. She suddenly remembered about what Er Kang said before he left “When I’m gone, my soul will return to accompany you”. Zi Wei was scared, making Xiao Yan Zi hugged her tightly, saying it’s been long since the men left so the only thing they can do now is to dream about them

Back to Yunnan, Xiao Jian was playing the flute to the song of ‘Ni Shi Feng Er, Wo Shi Sha” while Yong Qi was sitting next to him, staring into the air. When a soldier came to ask whether they should bury Er Fu’s body there as well, Yong Qi told him not to touch the body, he wants to bring it back to Beijing. Sitting back, Yong Qi was worried how to tell Zi Wei about it. Later 2 soldiers came and brought Er Kang’s belongings to them. Yong Qi was blaming himself for what’d happened, saying he’s not a good friend for not saving Er Kang. Grabbing Zi Wei’s lucky charm, he said something to it while crying. Xiao Jian took Er Kang’s armour and touched the zi wei hua, saying the flower had accompanied Er Kang until the last moment of his life. Later Er Kang’s body was brought to them and placed near the fire, Xiao Jian suggested to place the charms on Er Kang since they were always there with him and Yong Qi agreed.

The next day, dead soldiers were buried together in front of Xiao Jian, Wu Ah Ge and this another general whose name I forgot already. Raising the bowl of wine, Yong Qi ‘told’ the dead soldiers, he felt guilty for not being able to bring them all back to Beijing but will only bring the souls back before all 3 of them splashed the wine onto the ground. The dead soldiers were later buried before Fu Heng appeared on his horse, saying they’d won, the Burmese army has retreated. Yong Qi and Xiao Jian were shocked upon hearing this…

[Ranting time…]

Nothing to rant about, such a sad episode indeed because Yong Qi and Xiao Jian cried when Er Kang died. Poor fella… Even my own boyfriend said he was going to cry, left alone me… I was going to cry but my headache stopped me from 100% enjoying the moment…Cannot wait to see them back into the palace… Poor Zi Wei…

Updated my fanfic already, Chapter 15… Ayyy… I wonder why I love writing about Yong Qi and Xiao Yan Zi more, heh? Huan Zhu Gege: Heaven and Earth Need more ideas to torture Yong Qi... Muahaha!
