[ Hzgg 3 - Episode 17 ]

Oh my gosh, I slept late again yesterday. Cried too much, I was worried about everything since my computer is busted. I was worried what will you guys do to me. Attack me? Kill me? I was fidgeting all nite long, wondering how should I post the summaries since I couldn’t open my Windows Explorer anymore. If anyone is good in computers, can you please tell me what the sh|t should I do now? My computer hanged each time I log into the Windows. It says that Window Explorer has encountered some problems, blah. What if the Window Explorer’s files are corrupted? Should I reformat my computer? That’s a nightmare for sure, so many files and… more Hzgg files! Not to forget, more Hzgg files and more Hzgg files!


Episode 17 of Huan Zhu Gege 3: Tian Shang Ren Jian started with…


Er Kang telling Xiao Jian that Yong Qi is marrying Zhi Hua tonight. He added that Xiao Yan Zi’s sacrifice is bigger than her own life, quoting Xiao Yan Zi that he’s the only living Fang descendant so he has to appreciate his life, if he continues rambling, he’s not as brave as Xiao Yan Zi. Later Xiao Jian jumped out from the carriage [The carriage was to go to south but Xiao Jain will be riding another horse and head north] after Er Kang assured him that Yong Qi only loves Xiao Yan Zi.


My most, I mean least favourite part in this episode… In Jing Yang Gong, a bunch of maids clad in red dresses are performing in front of Yong Qi who was standing at the door of Jing Yang Gong. Xiao Yan Zi, Zi Wei and other concubines were there as well to watch the performance. Yong Qi and Xiao Yan Zi weren’t smiling at all, had sad looks on their faces. Soon the carriage carrying Zhi Hua arrived. It’s funny when the eunuchs shook the carriage and Cai Xia, Ming Yue and the two eunuchs laughed. Oh-ho, this next part is kinda nice. Yong Qi then shot 3 arrows to the top of the carriage [Pft, did he practice real hard on this because no one was hurt by his arrows? ]. Zhi Hua came out from the carriage, went to Yong Qi, took the ribbon, followed him entering Jing Yang Gong [Gonna make it as short as possible because my heart wrenched badly when I saw Xiao Yan Zi’s face]. Xiao Yan Zi commented on their wedding, they didn’t know anything [Traditional ceremony of arrow shooting, etc] about it. Zi Wei said when they were married, the carriages were also wrong, everybody was panicking, couldn’t remember the traditions of course. In Jing Yang Gong’s living room, Yong Qi and Zhi Hua bowed to the Imperial Concubines, Huangshang, Lao Fo Ye and to each other, each 3 times.


Upstairs, Xiao Yan Zi was pacing back and forth, saying that if she knew it earlier, she wouldn’t have came back from Nan Yang at the first place, adding the forgiveness is her biggest weakness. Zi Wei said there’s nothing wrong with forgiveness, asking her to be tough and must trust Yong Qi. Xiao Yan Zi answered, she didn’t know what to believe. Her head was aching, her stomach is aching, her heart is aching, her whole body is aching too . Suddenly Cai Xia and Ming Yue came into the room, telling that Xiao Jian had gone out from the palace. Xiao Yan Zi was a bit happy by this but suddenly her happiness was shattered when she heard the announcement from below, saying that the whole ceremony was over and it was time to enter the bridal chamber. The maids tried soothing her by offering her cakes and tea but she said she didn’t have appetite to eat [Since the day before]. Sadly, Xiao Yan Zi sadi “They’ve entered the room. Zhi Hua must be pretty tonight. Yong Qi must be lifting the veil and now they need to drink [What the hell with the translation? Isn’t it supposed to be wine instead of soup???] wine”. Zi Wei told Xiao Yan Zi that she came to accompany her and asked her not to talk nonsense. Zi Wei said “Yong Qi won’t be guilty to you, I can assure that. If married to a royalty, you’ve to be prepared for this” Later Zi Wei said if she wants to cry, hug her because she also feels like crying. Xiao Yan Zi bravely said she doesn’t want to cry though her eyes were filled with tears and slowly beads by beads of tears fell down her face. Zi Wei cried, couldn’t stand watching Xiao Yan Zi, pretending to be strong [I Shall kowtow Xiao Yan Zi for this! Go girl!] Mian Yue and Cai Xia cried as well.


In the bridal chamber with the song Nai He playing, we see Yong Qi and Zhi Hua on the bed, sitting next to each other. The maid asked Yong Qi to unveil the bride but he seemed to be reluctant of that idea. Turning to face Zhi Hua, he was shocked when he saw Xiao Yan Zi [Instead of Zhi Hua] opening the veil herself. So blah, opened the veil after the maid asked for another 2 times. Then time to drink wine, Yong QI hesitated to do it but when he saw Zhi Hua crying [Pft, innocent, as if!], he felt bad and quickly drank the wine, thinking that the marriage was a tragedy to Zhi Hua, as much as it was a tragedy to him and Xiao Yan Zi. Later the maid tied their clothes together and… the maids went out.


Next scene, the moon was beautiful and round, flashing down to earth from sky. Xiao Yan Zi said the moon that day was as beautiful as the moon yesterday. Zi Wei said she will accompany Xiao Yan Zi that night. Xiao Yan Zi said about her life before palace. She missed it, though poor yet they were happy. But now, live in palace all rich but very tiring actually. She added she’s useless, she cannot even take care of her unborn child, if she’s pregnant, she’ll be happy. Now? Zi Wei said she still can get pregnant and next time no practicing martial arts and fighting. She continued, maybe the poison given by Lao Fo Ye affected her pregnancy. Xiao Yan Zi said she’d thought the name, Nan Er, can be used for either a girl or a boy. If girl, she’ll marry her daughter off to Dong Er. Zi Wei was ecstatic to hear it promised, adding that if Xiao Yan Zi gives birth to a boy, she’ll give birth to a girl. It was heart warming; the girls tease each other, blushing. Later, Xiao Yan Zi was frowning again, saying she doesn’t have a child. Yong Qi is now inside a room with another girl, why is she dreaming again…


Then the two male eunuchs came, saying that all the maids and eunuchs were called to pay respect to the new Fu Jin. Xiao Yan Zi was exploding all over the place, wanting to go and pushed Zi Wei until she fell onto the floor. Zi Wei even added that thank goodness she wasn’t pregnant with her daughter-in-law, if not she’d have had miscarriage. Xiao Yan Zi felt bad and sad, saying Zi Wei was so nice, trying to make her happy and smile but she couldn’t even smile. Cai Xia and Ming Yue later left and…



The maids and eunuchs were seen paying their respects to Wu Ah Ge and the new Wu Fu Jin. Zhi Hua then asked to untie the knot, saying she wanted to go for a walk. Yong Qi gladly untied it, saying he wanted to do the same. Yong Qi was shocked when Zhi Hua asked Kuai Mo Mo to bring her to meet Huan Zhu Gege. Zhi Hua paid her respect to the two Gege. She was [Barf…] nice and innocent, saying she’ll be addressing Xiao Yan Zi and Zi Wei as Jie Jie. She came because she felt bad for not paying respects to them. Later Zhi Hua left, making Zi Wei said “Another pity one in the palace”.


In the bridal chamber, the maids were helping Kuai Mo Mo to remove Zhi Hua’s head gear and the accessories. Yong Qi was staring into the space, thinking deeply “Xiao Yan Zi, hate me, tonight is very long, it’s even harder for me to go through it, I don’t know what to do next” He turned around, it’s as if his eyes were going to pop out upon seeing the maids undressing Zhi Hua to only he runder garments. He quickly turned away, telling himself he’s to go through that night alone with anyone’s help. [Qin Lan is very brave, she was half-naked! Cannot help but wondered how Xiao Yan Zi’s face looked like on her wedding night, stripped in front of Yong Qi with him staring at her all the time! Hehe…] A maid helped Zhi Hua to wear a transparent outer robe and she then sat on the bed after a maid spread a piece of silky white piece of cloth [For the evidence of fire penetration I guess. Eew, cannot believe I just wrote that!]. We see the candles burnt until they were… short! The maids were peeping from outside and Yong Qi couldn’t stop pacing back and forth until Zhi Hua asked him to sit because the maids were peeping outside. Zhi Hua said she understand everything and said what to do… about… she looked at the silky cloth, saying Kuai Mo Mo will take it in the morning cuz Lao Fo Ye wants to inspect it [Eew, don’t they know it’s gross?! Inspecting &^%$% blood from intercourse? Don’t they know what germs are?! Talk about viruses! ]


Next thing Yong Qi was going to do freaked me out totally! After much thinking and hesitation, he went on to unbutton [ ] Zhi Hua’s outer robe but stopped instantly. Zhi Hua asked him to listen to hear, they would fake ‘it’ using a small knife. Yong Qi thanked her for understanding and coping with him [You’ll regret it big time my friend…]. Later Zhi Hua opened Yong Qi’s clothes, helping him to unbutton. The maids were getting excited, saying that Fu Jin’s opening Wu Ah Ge’s clothes. Xiao Yan Zi must have heard this because her face was … Indescribable. Yong Qi and Zhi Hua are seen diving into the bed… together! Kuai Mo Mo even commented that men love pretty women.


Xiao Yan Zi was sulking in front of the mirror, tears in her eyes [With Nai He as background music… ahhh…]. Zi Wei neared her, asking her not to torture herself and go to bed instantly, volunteering to brush her hair. Staring into the space, Xiao Yan Zi sadly said “Can you believe it? He’s now having sexual intercourse with her, Kuai Mo Mo and the maids are now watching them outside, laughing. Why is he like that? He loves me and yet how could he hug another girl? Er Kang will never do that” Zi Wei said he had to do it. Xiao Yan Zi said she cannot sleep, she keeps thinking about the room, the bed and the Guan Yin figurine. She wanted to play sword, Zi Wei stopped her. She wanted to practice martial arts, Zi Wei once again stopped her. Later she went to play the flute, Zi Wei asked her to stop [Zi Wei’s being meanie, saying it sounds bad, she should not continue playing] but Xiao Yan Zi kept on playing “The whole night I’d to hear to the wedding music, nobody cared about me. Can’t I play the flute now?” tears were brimming dangerously in her eyes as she played the flute to the tune of Ni Shi Feng Er, Wo Shi Sha.


In Zhi Hua’s room, we see Yong Qi staring at the ceilings and Zhi Hua was facing the wall, crying. No, they’re not naked, thank you very much . Xiao Yan Zi was already crying badly while playing the flute. Yong Qi thought that if it’s the only way to let vent her anger, then do it...


Morning time! Kuai Mo Mo happily came out form the bedroom with the stained silky cloth. Suddenly Xiao Yan Zi walked into the living room, feeling all hot upon hearing Kuai Mo Mo. In Zhi Hua’s room, we see Zhi Hua helping Yong Qi to dress up, buttoning his clothes for him [They’ve to pretend, Zhi Hua must be happy though…]. They looked so intimate together and little did they know Xiao Yan Zi was standing at the door [With a very sad face], watching them. The maids were shocked and quickly greeted her, shocking Yong Qi. The two turned to Xiao Yan Zi. Zi Wei came to the rescue, covering Xiao Yan Zi. She said that Xiao Yan Zi came to congratulate them. So Xiao Yan Zi go on and sadly said “Yes, I came to congratulate you. Wu Ah Ge, Fu Jin, congratulations. I don’t want to disturb you anymore… I’ll go and play the sword” So with that Xiao Yan Zi went out and Zi Wei trailed behind her. Yong Qi wanted to go but Zhi Hua stopped him, continue buttoning his robe.


Outside, Xiao Yan Zi was practicing sword, with superb movements. Slashing the leaves out of trees… Then Yong Qi walked out, smiling asking Xiao Yan Zi to have breakfast together with him. Suddenly Xiao Yan Zi changed her course and began attacking Yong Qi, who was of course shocked. Yong Qi didn’t fight back, just tried his best to defend himself. Xiao Yan Zi asked Yong Qi not to hide but he answered back if he doesn’t hide, she’ll become a widow! [ Yong Qi’s face was like so... blah!] Xiao Yan Zi answered back he’s just scared someone else will become a widow! Later Yong Qi asked her what does she wants, stab him? So he closed his eyes, ready to accept what’s going to befall him. Xiao Yan Zi’s sword was moving fast towards Yong Qi’s neck but suddenly stopped an inch away from his neck, instead she did some slashing and... Yong Qi opened his eyes, turned around a couple of times as Xiao Yan Zi’s sword did its magical moves. Slash, slash, slash, Yong Qi’s buttons went flying and fell into Xiao Yan Zi’s hand. Zi Wei and Yong Qi watched in awe, as Zi Wei said “I’ve never seen this before!” Xiao Yan Zi handed the buttons to Yong Qi, saying his Fu Jin must be good in it [Sewing] before running in. Yong Qi wanted to run after Xiao Yan Zi but Kuai Mo Mo came out of nowhere, saying Lao Fo Ye invited Wu Ah Ge and Fu Jin to have breakfast at Ci Ning Gong. Xiao Yan Zi heard it, she was mad and stormed into her room. Yong Qi stared at Zi Wei for help but she just stared at him with sad face before going into Xiao Yan Zi’s room.


At the Fu Residence, Er Kang was smiling and asked “Xiao Yan Zi was so jealous until she did that?!” blah, blah… Zi Wei was sad because Yong Qi was so serious in this marriage thingy [As in really having sex last night] Later Zi Wei said she’ll rest for 2 days before returning to the palace and asked Er Kang whether he’ll do it if he’s Yong Qi. Er Kang said he’s not as great as Yong Qi, he won’t be able to do it.


Scene changed to Qing Er and Xiao Jian. Qing Er was in Ci Ning Gong, Xiao Jian was riding the horse… blah, blah… Xiao Jian then sped on his horse, asking will their sacrifice make Xiao Yan Zi happy…?

[Ranting time… ]


I’m not going to say anything. First, Zhi Hua sucks a lot. I cannot cope with her pretence anymore. Second, poor Xiao Yan Zi. Third, how could Yong Qi even think of doing ‘it’ with Zhi Hua?! He was going to unbutton Zhi Hua’s robe for God’s sake! Nevermind… Hate him more now.


Yes, it’s not easy. Having to re-watch the whole episode again, pausing the vcam and trying to figure out how to translate the weird Malay Language subtitles… Hehe… Took me about 2 hours [Minimum] to finish typing one episode summary though I typed real fast and skipped a few scenes. So sorry if you’re pissed at me for skipping scenes [Especially ZW/EK, XJ/QE, HS/LFY and other people’s scenes]. Somehow I can elaborate real long without getting tired on XYZ/YQ scenes… LoL!


Attention Joleen & Lindy! I’m so sorry for not replying to your emails yet, I’d to type this summary first since I’m borrowing my boyfriend’s computer now.
