[ Hzgg 3 - Episode 16 ]

[Date aired] February 16th, 2005 (Wednesday)


First of all, today’s episode is so crappy and doesn’t make any sense at all. First, it was all about the wedding preparation. I mean, what’s up with that? There’s a big fat bossy Mo Mo, Rong Mo Mo’s clone [I think even worse] yelling her big fat ass off in Jing Yang Gong all the time… well, this episode is made just to torture Xiao Yan Zi of course… -_-" Anyways, there was a kissing scene in this episode, Yong Qi kissed Xiao Yan Zi to shut her up but alas, we Malaysians never got to see it because obviously they censored it. It is said to be a very passionate kissing scene, still wondering why the shit they didn’t censor the scene in Episode 13 and ended up censoring the very much awaited scene in yesterday’s episode .


Episode 16 of Hzgg 3: Tian Shang Ren Jian started with Zhi Hua’s annoying face suddenly [Continuation of yesterday's episode of course...] appeared in the middle of the screen saying if Yong Qi don’t marry her, Huan Zhu Gege and prolly Qing Gege as well will be beheaded. So after much blahness, Zi Wei fell for the fact Zhi Hua’s sacrificing herself to release Xiao Jian and Zhi Hua said she’s sacrificing her own happiness for them. Please read my ranting at the end of the post. I’ve so many things to say about this part!


In Jing Yang Gong, we see Xiao Yan Zi sitting on the chair with her legs resting on a stool, with a thick blanket on her body. Still with bandaged head and not wearing her head gear. Yong Qi said “The Cheng family thinks I’ll become a Tai Zi so they want Zhi Hua to marry me”. He added he never wanted to become a Tai Zi and upon seeing Xiao Yan Zi worried, he went to her. “Don’t worry Xiao Yan Zi, we still got a chance, I’ll go and look for Huang Ah Ma now” Er Kang stopped him as he was about to go and Zi Wei said Yong QI is nice, loves the people, good in martial arts, well educated, of course he’s a good candidate for a future Huangshang. Yong Qi said he didn’t want to become a Huangshang, too many things had happened in the palace regarding becoming a Tai Zi and he asked Xiao Yan Zi whether she wanted to become an empress. Xiao Yan Zi answered that too many things had happened, with Huanghou shaving her head and etc.


Er Kang commented that Zhi Hua is a really nice girl, willing to sacrifice herself for Xiao Jian and Xiao Yan Zi, he said that Yong Qi must be in real hard position. Xiao Yan Zi answered back, obviously a bit jealous and insecure. “What’s so hard? I give her Yong Qi. Since I cannot give birth, I won’t give birth for your family. Let her give birth then!” Yong Qi quickly went to her side and tried to coax her when Qing Er suddenly arrived. She said that Xiao Jian had not eaten for a few days and afraid he won’t live longer. So later Xiao Yan Zi asked Yong Qi to go tell Huangshang that he’ll get married tomorrow, no that very night. So Yong Qi went off to the Imperial Court.


Huangshang was shocked at first, asking whether Xiao Yan Zi had agreed with it or not and Yong Qi said he has his own reasons. Huangshang agreed that the wedding will be held real soon. Later when Yong Qi asked him to remove his name from the list of candidates for Tai Zi, Huangshang started lecturing him about their family thingy and of course the country. Saying that both Er Kang and him think more of love [Cheh, love is more important to them….], asking Yong Qi to think about the country.


The next scene is of course the most annoying scene in this episode. In Jing Yang Gong, we see Kuai Mo Mo ordering the maids and eunuchs to decorate Jing Yang Gong with lotsa red ribbons. One of Yong Qi’s eunuchs got slapped by her and later Cai Xia got slapped by her as well. Xiao Yan Zi came to the rescue and was shocked when she heard about Kuai Mo Mo sent there by Lao Fo Ye. Guess Xiao Yan Zi cannot do anything at all… in the bridal chambers, two maids are talking about ‘seeing red’ [Ehemz, first time sex, you know, blood…] Lao Fo ye herself will check it in case if Wu Ah Ge doesn’t want to have sex . They commented that Zhi Hua is pretty, Wu Ah Ge won’t resist her, men will always be men. Xiao Yan Zi who was standing at the door heard everything, making the maids shocked.


Xiao Yan Zi marched into the Study Room, saying she’d regretted everything she said, saying they’ll go with Yong Qi’s plan but Yong Qi, afraid that anyone was peeping, shut her up with his fingers and said it’s too late. Xiao Yan Zi stepped backward, saying he really wanted to marry Zhi Hua and men will always be men [Upset mode]. Upon seeing Xiao Yan Zi’s sad face, Yong Qi said he’ll go and see Lao Fo Ye and tell her that he’s changed his mind. About Xiao Jian, let him [Yong QI threatening Xiao Yan Zi?!]. Of course, after hearing this, Xiao Yan Zi quickly stopped Yong Qi, saying she was just talking nonsense, asking him a couple of times to marry Zhi Hua Touched by Xiao Yan Zi’s kind heart, Yong Qi pulled her into his arms, embracing her tightly. Touching indeed. Later he said “Xiao Yan Zi, in this life there are things we’ve to do, we cannot run away from responsibilities. Yesterday I had a talk with Huang Ah Ma. I was born royal maybe in future there will be more obstacles, we’ll go through together, don’t run away anymore. Last time you said we cannot act childish anymore, these words shocked me, you’ve matured at last” Later they went to see Xiao Jian in Ci Ning Gong.


In the Secluded Room, the couple met Xiao Jian. Yong Qi said that the next day Gao Yong [The guard] will send Xiao Jian to Sheng Wu Gate, Er Kang’s carriage will be there waiting for him, after that go away and never return to Beijing. They tried their best not to tell Xiao Jian about Yong Qi’s wedding, Xiao Yan Zi was very sad indeed. Xiao Yan Zi said ‘The sword in still at Er Kang’s house, I’ve no time to go there, Er Kang will bring it tomorrow night, you cannot stay in Beijing anymore, you’ve to take care of yourself. We’ll… see in Dali” Before going, Xiao Jian handed Xiao Yan Zi the ‘xiao’ [flute] to Xiao Yan Zi, saying she takes the flute and he takes the sword. Some day they’ll be together again. Very touching. Xiao Yan Zi began crying hard, reluctant to leave but Yong Qi managed to drag her out after much hugging and tears.


It was the night before Yong Qi’s wedding. In Jing Yang Gong, Xiao Yan Zi was standing facing the window feeling sad, with Yong Qi embracing her securely from her side, holding her hand. “Don’t be like this, you are not well yet, rest in the bed” with expressionless face, Xiao Yan Zi sadly answered “I’m not that weak. Tomorrow night you won’t want to hug me anymore” Yong QI embraced her tighter, saying that he’ll only hug her. Turning to Yong Qi, Xiao Yan Zi said she’s scared, asking him to hug her tightly so they hugged each other intimately, afraid to let go. Yong Qi asked Xiao Yan Zi to believe and understand him. He added that in order to save Xiao Jian and have Xiao Yan Zi by his side, he’s to do it but Xiao Yan Zi is irreplaceable. Sad, Xiao Yan Zi said she’s jealous. Tomorrow night he’ll have to sleep with Zhi Hua and she’s very sad. When she looks at the decorations for the whole 2 days, she felt like tearing them, why like this?! Regretful, Yong Qi said maybe he was wrong, maybe he should have agreed to do it, he regretted everything now.


Upon hearing this, Xiao Yan Zi quickly said she was just saying nonsense, she wasn’t feeling jealous anymore, asking Yong Qi not to regret it. She quoted what Lao Fo Ye said, once Zhi Hua’s carriage arrived in Jing Yang Gong, Xiao Jian will be sent out from Sheng Wu Gate. She added that Xiao Jian has grown thinner, hadn’t eaten for a few days, whether he’ll be released or not, it all depends on Yong Qi. She then thanked Yong Qi, making him feel guilty and sad at the same time. Looking at Xiao Yan Zi with a sad face, Yong Qi said “I don’t understand but one thing for sure, I feel guilty toward you”. Xiao Yan Zi asked him not to babble anymore, noticing the sad face she changed the subject and pointed toward the moon that had just came out. Then Xiao Yan Zi’s eyes were brimming with tears when she wondered out whether tomorrow’s moon will be as pretty as tonight’s, saying the moonlight will flash upon [Okay, forgive the translation, it’s creepy, making mistakes here…] the wedding tomorrow.


Turning Xiao Yan Zi to him, Yong Qi asked her not to talk anymore. Xiao Yan Zi asked him, will her look at Zhi Hua the way he looked at her [right now] tomorrow, with your red eyes like these? Yong Qi’s eyes were swollen with tears, threatening to fall down anytime. She continued “Will you think of me? Will you forget me?’ Yong Qi was feeling guiltier and sadder by that time, asking her not to talk anymore but before Xiao Yan Zi could continue, Yong Qi stopped her with a passionate kiss which got censored and left us wondering… all about it…


The day, uh, the night after that, it was wedding time! The same music that was played on Xiao Yan Zi and Zi Wei’s wedding was played. We see Zhi Hua was prepared by the maids… no wait, I think they are Huangshang’s concubines cuz their headgears had decorations and they were wearing colorful dresses. Whatever… So Qing Er was seen dragging her legs back and fro, worried and sad. Let’s skip this part shall we? Blah, blah… Lao Fo Ye came… blah, she asked the maids to address her as ‘Fu Jin’ [Stealing Xiao Yan Zi’s title… once she’s in Jing Yang Gong. Huangshang later came and told Zhi Hua to respect Xiao Yan Zi since she was married earlier and address her as ‘Jie jie’ [Sister]. Lao Fo Ye was not pleased but then it was time for Zhi Hua to leave. Qing Er thought “Poor Xiao Yan Zi, poor Yong Qi, poor Xiao Jian, poor me…” Blah, blah, Qing Er begged for Lao Fo Ye’s permission to go see Xiao Jian for the last time, after much begging, she let her go… So…


In the Secluded Room, Xiao Jian and Qing Er met. It’s sweet how the song ‘Ni Shi Feng Er, Wo Shi Sha’ played each time they meet. So they kissed passionately after hugging. Qing Er began crying… One thing for sure, Xiao Jian was curious about what Xiao Yan Zi’s sacrificing for him but Qing Er just dismissed his question. Blah, she promised Xiao Jian to follow him one day but not now of course. Then they went to the Sheng Wu Gate, met with Er Kang. Before Xiao Jian left, Qing Er handed him a letter.


In the carriage, Er Kang talked to Xiao Jian. He asked Xiao Jian not to leave to Dali straightaway, telling him to go to Tibet and find Er Tai, next year when he went visiting Er Tai, he’ll bring Qing Er together. He said they owe Qing Er a lot. Xiao Jian said he was never in such condition, feeling bad, asking what Xiao Yan Zi sacrificed for him. Er Kang answered Yong Qi is marrying Zhi Hua tonight, shocking Xiao Jian big time.

[Ranting time, big time, baby! Big time…]


Did Qiong Yao write today’s episode just to torture Xiao Yan Zi big time? Poor girl… she’s sad and in misery all the time now… Feeling jealous and insecure!


One more thing, what’s with this bitchy Kuai Mo Mo?! Rong Mo Mo’s clone?! She’s even worse, big time! Keeps yelling her big fast ass, not respecting Xiao Yan Zi at all! Gosh, heavens! I need a big bar of chocolate to release my tension now… Darn that big fat old lady… I think Rong Mo Mo is even better… well, at least not as bossy as Kuai Mo Mo!


Pft, Zhi Hua is pretending to be the main victim again… How could the youngsters fall for that?!
