[ Hzgg 3 - Episode 8 ]

*Re-watch everything from her vcam* Lemme enjoy the opening credit first, okay… Tian Shang Ren Jian… lalala… Yong Qi kissing Xiao Yan Zi’s ey and cheek… So sad… Okay, done that. Eeew, look at Zhi Hua wearing her wedding costumes… Nevermind.


The episode started with Huangshang and Xia Ying Ying sitting opposite to each other, Huangshang had just told her the whole story about Xia Yu He. So Xia Ying Ying said she understood about it. She added that Huangshang is actually a guy who takes love seriously [He falls in love so easily, Ling Fei, Han Xiang, now Ying Ying, meh?]. So Huangshang denied it sadly, saying that if he was he wouldn’t be guilty to Yu He, just like her song. Ying Ying commented that after all these years, he still remember about Yu He and if Yu He hears it, she’ll be very happy. She continued, saying that though he’s an emperor, he cannot control life and death. So Huangshang said that’s why he regret it and added that Xia Ying Ying is everything like Yu He, reborn. So he asked about her surname but she told him her parents died when she was young and now live with her adoptive parents. After a couple of Yu He-Ying Ying thingy, Huangshang took Ying Ying’s hand and told her to accompany her that night [Urgh.. talk about lustful emperor! ]. Ying Ying quickly stood up asking him to respect her, telling him though she’s a prostitute, she’s still virgin [ ]. So she left with her girl friends.


The next day, the Royal family went for a tour at some place [Not written in the subtitle…]. They visited a beautiful house [Sort of] and later they rested at a gazebo. Huangshang then asked Xiao Yan Zi why was she so quiet that day. Fu Lun suggested that they can recite poems and play riddles. Xiao Yan Zi suggested they play riddles and Huangshang wanted to test Xiao Yan Zi. Yong Qi, Er Kang and Zi Wei proudly answered in the most poetic ways but Xiao Yan Zi still couldn’t understand. Yong Qi kept hinting her but she still didn’t get. Then Er Kang stepped forward and tested her. But Zi Wei answered it. Huangshang commented that Zi Wei is smart just like her mother who won each time he asked her. So Xiao Yan Zi then asked to test them. Xiao Jian then asked was there such an animal and Xiao Yan Zi said yes. They couldn’t answer and in the end she answered her own question and they all laughed at her. Huangshang then yawned sand upon seeing this, Fu Lun suggested he should go get some rest and he left. Xiao yan Zi then ran to Lao Fo ye, asking to borrow Qing Er for a while. Lao Fo Ye sarcastically refused but when Qing Er said she didn’t want to go, Lao Fo Ye asked her to go. Then Lao Fo Ye asked Fu Lun to get someone to send Zhi Hua into the palace, making Qing Er and Xiao Yan Zi all shocked.


Later by the river side, Zi Wei scolded Xiao Yan Zi for being so impatient. Xiao Yan Zi answered back, saying that she just wanted to help Xiao Jian and Qing Er cuz they had trouble to talk with each other, now Lao Fo ye wanted to invite Zhi Hua, that’s a serious problem! Qing Er answered, it’s a problem for her not Xiao Yan Zi. She said Lao Fo Ye felt sad and wanted to invite Zhi Hua to replace her, looks like Lao Fo Ye haven’t forgiven her yet. Xiao Jian said it’s a good thing [Hah, he didn’t know what will happen to her sister real soon! ]. Upon hearing this, Yong Qi stepped forward and said Lao Fo Ye will force him to marry Zhi Hua as his concubine. Feeling sad and mad, Xiao Yan Zi threw the weed she was holding and turned around, stomping away.


Yong Qi panicked and ran after her [See how I love to write about Xiao Yan Zi and Yong Qi more? Details, details… Lol! Look at the way he ran! Lol!]. Yong Qi grabbed her and told her not to vent her anger on him. Xiao Yan Zi said what else she should do. Adding that she shouldn’t play anymore and wants to go studying. Yong Qi coaxed her, saying not to go study and go wherever they want to since things are not that bad yet… When that time arrives, they’ll think or something. Yong Qi continued, quoting her that they are birds with 9 lives and when the time arrives, they won’t bother about anything else. Xiao Yan Zi smiled and gave him a playful punch. Zi Wei sighed, why they have never-ending problems… Er Kang answered that as long as they shall live, problem will arise. After that Qing Er coughed and Xiao Jian fussed over her. Xiao Yan Zi came and suggested they should go back to their old house since Qing Er is becoming her sister-in-law, they should give some respect. Er Kang stepped out, suggesting they should not go, Xiao Jian agreed too but Yong Qi and Qing Er insisted to pay their respect to their parents-in-law…


So Xiao Yan Zi and Xiao Jian went to the temple again, dragging Qing Er, Yong Qi, Zi Wei and Er Kang together this time. Kneeling down before the prayer place [Forgive me, I don’t know anything about the temple thingies…], Xiao Yan Zi started praying with everybody else standing behind her. Xiao Yan Zi talked to her parents, asking whether they’re protecting them, letting them be together always. She asked whether they can see them because although they’d moved on, they used to stay at that place and Xiao Jian and she were born there. She though that their spirits were still there. Xiao Yan Zi thanked them for giving her life, letting her live happily [Not for long.. ]. Even though they have problems but they had gone through them. She began crying when she said she missed the, regretting that she never got to live with them, hoping that they’re all happy now. So they all bowed before the prayer place.


Scene changed to Lao Fo Ye’s room where a guy came to Lao Fo ye, saying he’d investigated this Fang Huan [I guess Xiao Jian lied about his father] and couldn’t find anything about him. Lao Fo ye asked him to continue his investigation and tell her all about it once they’re back in Beijing. Later the scene changed to Huangshang’s boat, Xia Ying Ying and her gang was there. I’m not gonna write whatever they talked about; it’s all about ‘You miss me?’ ‘no’ ’Blah…’. Later Xia Ying Ying tested Huangshang with a riddle since he said he loved riddles. He said he’s heard the riddle from Yu he once, asking how come she got it. She answered, everyone already knew about it, very popular indeed.


In Huang Hou’s room, she was kneeling, praying. Rong Mo Mo came and kicked all the maids out. She told Huang Hou about Xia Ying Ying and she was concerned, a prostitute??? She reminded herself about what Lao Fo Ye had said earlier though she didn’t want to interfere actually. So Rong Mo Mo advised her to see Lao Fo Ye. Later when Xia Ying Ying and Huangshang were busy talking, Lao Fo ye and Huang Hou came. Lao Fo ye told Ying Ying to leave as she went to sit on the throne [I’m the queen of the world, wahhhahhha!]. Huangshang turned to Huang Hou, saying she must be the one who told her and blah but Rong Mo Mo defended her. After a series of arguments, Ying Ying left but Huangshang trailed behind her. He wanted her to become his Royal Concubine but she refused. Later the youngsters came and Huangshang introduced her to them as Concubine Xia [Xia Fei]. The youngsters looked at each other as Ying Ying left, asking to give her some time to think about it.


Meanwhile, the youngsters gathered, talking about it. Yong QI was concerned that if Huangshang really took Ying Ying as his concubine, it’ll make people think of him as… uhuh, how to translate this… Qing Er said it couldn’t be that easily because a girl who wants to become a concubine has to go through 5 stages of title [???!], how could a girl made all the way to top just like that. Zi Wei commented that Ying Ying looked like her mother. Xiao Yan Zi commented how their love story is different, they each fell for one person only and Huangshang already has so many concubines, he’s not serious in love. He cannot take in every girl he sees [She used a lot of Chengyu!!!]. Yong Qi was amazed and clapped his hands and the rest followed, saying she’s right. Yong Qi caught her when she tripped over Qing Er, commenting she used a lot of Chengyu. He hugged her from her side, proudly. Then a servant came, saying Huangshang had summoned Zi Wei to his boat.


Zi Wei went there and Huangshang told her that he wanted to take Ying Ying as his concubine and wanted her opinion as Lao Fo Ye was against it. ZI Wei said she understands but he has to think about his people too. Lao Fo Ye asked him to forget it but he refused to. He told Zi Wei that he was frustrated by hr, saying that it could be Yu he, reborn version but Zi Wei said it she was reborn, she’ll be only 6 by then. Huangshang said he’s crazy and no matter what he wants Ying Ying and nobody shall stop him. Lao Fo ye threatened that if he continues, their relationship will be broken. She left and Zi Wei apologized to Huangshang, saying she had to speak the truth. Huangshang then slapped Zi Wei real hard, she fell onto the floor with blood on her lips. Huangshang commented Yu he had wasted her time taking care of Zi Wei and she had wasted of his love on her. And later he asked her to get lost!

How could Lao Fo Ye asked someone to go invite Zhi Hua into the palace already?! Poor Xiao Yan Zi, her face was… woah when she heard it!


And Huangshang slapped his own daughter just for a prostitute, unbelievable! If Er Kang sees this, he’ll go berserk!
